🏫 Morning Drop-Off Guidelines
-
Doors Open at 7:30 AM Please don’t leave your child unattended before this time. If you need to drop off earlier, the Quest program is available.
-
Tardy Bell Rings at 8:00 AM If your child arrives after 8:00 AM, walk them to the closed doors so they can get a tardy pass before heading to class.
-
Parent Entry Rules Only students may enter the building. Parents can walk their child to class only on their first day. If your child starts after August 13, stop by the office for a one-day escort pass.
-
Quick Goodbyes Start saying goodbye and gathering backpacks before you reach the front of the school. Practice unbuckling and opening doors at home so your child can exit quickly.
-
Exit Safely to the Sidewalk Choose the drop-off lane based on which side your child will exit. They must exit on the side facing the sidewalk—never into the middle of the lane.
-
Drop Off Promptly at the Building Move forward in the line and let your child out as soon as you’re in front of the building. Don’t wait to reach the very front. Staff will supervise students walking safely.
-
Breakfast Reminder If your child needs breakfast, arrive early enough so they can eat before class starts at 8:00 AM.
🚗 Afternoon Pick-Up Guidelines
-
Stay in Your Lane Don’t switch lanes during dismissal. Students are matched to cars based on the lane scanned, and changing lanes causes confusion.
-
Stay in Your Vehicle For safety, please remain in your car while in the pick-up line.
-
No Crossing Between Lanes Students won’t be placed between cars. Start in the lane that matches your child’s car seat location to avoid climbing over seats.
-
Be On Time School ends at 3:30 PM. Please pick up your child promptly. Scanning ends at 3:45 PM.
-
Use This Year’s Pick-Up Card Last year’s cards are linked to different students. Use only the current year’s card and discard the old one.
-
Display Your Pick-Up Number Clearly Place the card in your front window so staff can quickly identify your vehicle.
-
Have a Backup Photo Take a photo of your pick-up card in case you forget it or use a different car. If you don’t have the card, you’ll need to park and show your ID inside the building.
